What Is a Baccalaureate Ceremony?
A baccalaureate ceremony is a special event that honors and blesses the achievements of graduating seniors. Rooted in a long-standing tradition of faith-based celebration, it serves as a meaningful reflection on each student’s educational journey and the values that have shaped them.
Our baccalaureate ceremony will be held in a host church or event center and will include Christian elements, offering a Christ-centered space for gratitude, inspiration, and celebration.
The program will feature:
A time of prayer and scripture reading
A message from a class speaker and a commencement address
A video presentation highlighting the unique history and reflections of each graduate
Musical or artistic performances by seniors
A diploma presentation and benediction
A graduate processional
Following the ceremony, guests are invited to a reception with individual graduate tables where friends and family can offer congratulations and connect with each senior.
