Who Do We Serve?

This ceremony is designed to honor students who have been primarily educated at home during their high school years. To participate, graduates must meet the following criteria:

• Be at least 16 years of age or have been accepted to an accredited junior college

• Have been homeschooled for at least three years of high school

• Have completed at least 50% of their high school credits at home

• Reside in Brazoria County

These guidelines reflect our committee’s definition of a homeschool graduate and ensure that the ceremony remains focused on celebrating the unique accomplishments of homeschooled students and their families in our area.

Applicants who do not meet these exact requirements may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the committee.
