What Do We Offer?
Custom Diplomas
Each graduate will receive a custom diploma and cover, personalized with their homeschool name and an optional Bible verse.
Graduates with a Distinguished academic transcript will receive a gold seal on their diploma.
Seniors who choose the Foundational or Distinguished diploma options may also elect to have their diploma signed by a Texas state representative.
Caps & Gowns
Each senior will receive a tote bag containing:
A cap, gown, and customized tassel
Cap Decorating:
Seniors may decorate their caps to reflect their personality and interests, but must follow the guidelines:
No profanity, explicit or violent imagery, or political messages.
3D designs are discouraged if they can interfere with the tassel flip.
Inappropriate cap designs, as determined by any committee member on graduation day, will require the purchase and use of a plain replacement cap.
Honor Cord Recognition
Seniors will receive honor cords based on their homeschool experience and diploma type. Additional honor regalia may be worn if it represents a legitimate state or national organization.
Cord Colors: Meaning:
Gold, Silver, Bronze Homeschooled all 12 years + Distinguished diploma
Gold with Burgundy Highlight Homeschooled all 12 years
Burgundy, Gold, and White Homeschooled 4 years of high school + Distinguished
Burgundy with Gold Highlight Homeschooled 4 years of high school
Burgundy and White Homeschooled 3 years of high school + Distinguished
Burgundy Only Homeschooled 3 years of high school

Senior Spotlights (Video Presentation)
This deeply personal segment of the ceremony includes:
A custom slideshow featuring 15 parent-chosen and 5 student-chosen photos (JPEG format)
A 60-second voice message from the parent(s)
A 15-second message from the senior to their parents
How it works:
Submit your photos on a flash drive
Sign up for voice recording timess
Flash drives will be returned after graduation, loaded with your submitted photos, the video presentation, and event photos
Start preparing early—writing your 60-second speech is often harder than it sounds!
Professional Color Programs
Each participating family will receive one professionally printed, full-color ceremony program featuring a custom design and a personal biography and photo of their graduate.
To be included in the program, each family is required to submit:
A written biography of the graduate
One high-quality photo of the graduate
Custom Reception with Senior Tables
Each graduate may decorate a card-size table to reflect their personality and accomplishments.
Please bring your own card table (36”x36”)
Keep decorations appropriate and within size limits to ensure fair space for all students
Texas State Resolutions
Each graduate will receive a free personalized resolution ordered by the committee and signed by a Texas state legislator. This document serves as a ceremonial recognition of the graduate’s achievement and celebrates the right to homeschool in Texas.
*Please note: This resolution is purely honorary and does not legitimize the diploma or carry any legal merit. It is a symbolic gesture of support from our elected officials, not a government-issued credential.
Photography & Digital Keepsake
About 1–2 weeks after the ceremony, each family will receive:
Their original flash drive
Event photos
Their senior spotlight video
A digital copy of their custom diploma
Dress Code for Ceremony Day
This is a religious ceremony held in a church or event center — dress respectfully and appropriately.
Seniors: Wear formal, comfortable attire under your cap and gown.
Parents & Guests: Think Sunday best or wedding guest attire.
Men: Slacks or dress jeans with a collared shirt and dress shoes/boots.
Women: Dresses, skirts, or dress pants. Comfortable shoes recommended.
Class Speaker Opportunity
Any senior may apply to deliver a short speech focused on:
The homeschool journey
Future goals
Encouragement or advice for peers
Code of Conduct
All participating families are expected to represent the homeschool community with honor.
Use respectful behavior at all events, meetings, and the ceremony.
The committee reserves the right to remove a senior or family member if conduct is deemed inappropriate.
Personal Commitment Clause
This event is made special by your participation. To help us stay on track:
Be on time for meetings and recording sessions
Turn in flash drives and paperwork by posted deadlines
Communicate respectfully with volunteers
Remember, the committee is made up of volunteer parents working hard to create something beautiful for your seniors.
